Floral Stylist will be teaching Floral Workshops from April 2013 so come and get some floral therapy,
soak up some beauty and fragrance and take it all home with you with a few handy floral tricks up your sleeve.
Floral Stylist design classes are for individuals who are passionate about flowers! These classes are tailored to meet your skill level, whether you are a beginner seeking an interesting hobby, someone who wants to create amazing floral arrangements for your friends and family, or perhaps looking to further your floral expertise. Floral Stylist design classes will provide you with a fun, professional, hands on, imagination fuelled environment to get all your creative juices flowing!
Workshop 1: Lush Posies
Learn the basics of putting gorgeous flowers and foliages together and then let your imagination go.
Explore the techniques, handy hints and professional secrets to construct a natural stemmed, hand tied, wedding style bouquet.
Take home and enjoy your lush and fragrant creation in a beautifully adorned vintage style jar.

Workshop 2:bohemian garlands and hair flowers
In keeping with the current trend of gorgeous wild flower crowns we have created a fun class for you to learn to make your own.
This is a great class to learn all the ins and outs of wiring for body flowers.

Workshop 3:Floral Spheres
Flowers always look cooler and more lush when used en masse.
The floral sphere can be hung or used as a table centre and makes a bold visual statement.
In this class you will get the feel of working with floral foam and we will show you how to use it at its best.

Ever bought flowers home only to end up putting them in a bucket because the vase you have is just not happening for you?

Workshop 5:Table centres for celebrations
In this workshop we will work more with floral foam to create a stunning 'garden picked' style table centre filled with yummy botanical goodies.
This 'long and low', full and festive design will take pride of place at your next dinner party table or mantelpiece,or would make a stunning early gift for your Mum for Mother's Day.

A Class Of Your Own:
That's right, a class all to yourselves. Use this class as a fun corporate team building excercise, a birthday or hen's party. We can set up a special session that must include at least 4 people and no more than 10 people. You choose the subject!(contact us for pricing).

Who?
You don't have to have even touched a flower before to come and join in the class. The classes are very beginner friendly and do not bite:)
If you are looking for a new career,want a gift for someone who has everything, have 'always wanted to be a florist',want to learn a fun new skill or have to do some DIY for your wedding or someone else, then this is the class for you.
What?
Each workshop will have all flowers and sundries supplied, be 1.5 hours long and cost from $95 per person.
There will be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 students per class.
50% non refundable deposit to book your place.
Loads of parking outside the building and across the road at the supermarket.
Full refunds apply if there are too many cancellations and the class can't go ahead.
Cancellations need to be made 1 week prior to event to receive full refund.

Classes will be held in the Yates Room at the newly refurbished Onehunga Community Centre on Wednesday nights from 6.30pm to 8pm.
